Hong Kong: Day One

The morning we left, Daffy had to pass by St. Lukes to get a shot
for the - as he says - demon dog's bites.


After theyw ere done, everyone headed over to our place to have some breakfast,
then we were on our way to the airport.
We were singing the Sosy Problems theme song in the car.

Okay, I got too sleepy while waiting for boarding, so...

Then it was boarding time na, and when we got to our
seats, I found out that the cockpit was right in front of us and
the two pilots were just hanging out, so I went over there
and asked myself if I should take a far away picture or
if I should just be retarded and talk to them

1.5 hours later (after weird lamb chops and an episode of The Simpsons),
we were in Hong Kong!

While Ate Diday fixed our room assignments,
we went to the little garden outside of the kind-of lobby
to sit on the bean bags and to touch the fake grass
(maybe that last bit was just me)

Finally got to our room!

we had an adventure to the building next to Pacific Place
(I think it's called Queensway...?)
to find McDo because we all wanted McWings.

Fast forward to after dinner - we were back at Pacific Place and we
met up with Dad at the gadget store. Look, they have a wall covered

Chrsitmas eve + day

CHRISTMAS EVE


1. These are the gifts I wrapped for my family

2. This is Jesus, who was celebrating his birthday at midnight.
The one on the right is normal vain ecklat (usually happens -
kung hindi pa kayo sanay ewan ko nalang)

3. This is Ana as a Minecraft character - Ben owns the box head!

4. Christian had a tummy ache that night and was sad

5. The kids came in and started to play and be noisy

6. We moved to our normal room. The Riingens arrived in Christmas costumes.
This is Tracy, she was wearing a reindeer.

7. After a while, Ate took Christian to our room because the other kids were getting too noisy.
Christian became unsick when Tisha arrived. He was smiling na

CHRISTMAS DAY

1. Twelve hours later and we're all together again!

2. Miguel was playing with the PS3.
He told me that he's never gotten to try 2K13

3. Teleserye ang peg.

4. I bet you it was my Dad who stole the pig's ear.
(Thank you for two lechons this Christmas)

5. Ate Diday makes the best carbonara. Wag ka nang umangal.

6. Ate Diday makes the best manok also. Nomnomnom

7. Korra was part of the festivities, as usual!

8. Okay. That afternoon was full of panic and insanity.
 We all planned to watch Sosy Problems,
but Mickey + Daffy had another family dinner, so we had a 6pm time limit.
(CHACHIIIING CHACHIIIIING - catchy yung trailer music, ha.)

At around 1:30 pm, left for Eastwood to hang out.
Tracy + Daffy + Ana stayed in Eastwood from 2 - 3,
while Mickey + Tisha went home. Tisha fell asleep, and Mickey did
not wake her up on time! (aka did not wake her up at all)

So Tisha + Mickey picked us up and we headed to Galleria.
The screening was at 3:30, and when we got there, we had about 3 minutes.
The cinema was PACKED, ok. Hindi na kami aabot. So Tisha goes,
"There's another showing at Greenbelt! It's at 3:40!!!"

So we get back in the car with less than ten minutes to get there.
MORE than ten minutes later, we get to Greenbelt.
Punong puno din yung cinema, huhuhuhuhuhuhuhu.
After standing in line for about a minute, (we know we're impatient)
we just decided to go back to Tisha's house.

Which bring us to:
9. Tisha wanted to eat raclette (a cheese that I cannot stand the smell of)

10. I used Mickey's pants to save myself.
I hear raclette is really good though, I just can't get myself to eat it.

11. Tracy wearing Ate Diday's bra sleeping eye mask.
I do not think I would be fine wearing this too bed - it would be awkward :-))

12. Yay we love Coke

13. We went downstairs because we wanted to sing karaoke.
Time check - 5:50-something!

14. I got distracted - look o, so innocent ahihihihihi

15. Simba had to be kept in the kitchen ever since he bit Daffy. :-(

I know Daffy wants me to be against this dog, but I couldn't help it :-((
I had to hug him :-(( I LOVE YOU SIMBA (but you are evil for the Daffy attack)

16. So ayan, we ended Christmas singing funny songs
and it was happy. :-)

FINALS

Hi! I am alive! (And feeling a lot better compared to the last post, hahaha)

This term, I got six subjects - and I feel like talking about my finals

kasi last day na tomorrow and I'm so happy because 

I'm so tired and I miss sleep

Sige, I will do this in order of submission date HAHAHA

1. MMPROJ1

If you are an MMA student at Benilde, you would know that our

thesis has three steps (aka three subjects) the first is MSCIETY, where

you have to be able to defend your topic to the panel.

MMPROJ1 is stage two of our thesis, meaning production -

where we actually make the project we proposed in the 

first step. That's what I had to do this term!

My thesis topic is 21st Century World Leaders and Their Pets.
(Oops, yes I had to defend my love for animals last term -
One panelist kept on telling me that there was no need for the site
I was going to make because there were soooo many sites about dogs already -
medyo hindi niya magets na I wanted to tell the stories of the leaders and their pets)

2. ADVEDES

This is an advertising elective I decided to take - I have no comment on this class. :-|

Basta, I'm just very thankful for Jeroen who agreed to be our client

for finals. We had to make ads for Pepper Lunch and he agreed to 

be there at school at 9 in the morning because of our defense

That's him sitting in the second row! The first group was reporting at
the time, and my group was cramming the rest of the requirements

Aaaaand, after the defense!!! That's Jeroen with my two
other groupmates, Jessica and Ella! (We are happy because
we didn't suck as much as we thought we would so yay)



3. 2DPREP
2DPREP was one of my favorite subjects this term. It's an elective
about experimental animation, so we learned how to do stop motion
and clay animation and sand animation and paint on glass animation
and cut-out animation and pixilation and kinestasis
in short I LEARNED A LOT IN THIS CLASS +
we had the nicest two teachers in the world

For finals, we had to make a one minute animation
that could be about anything, basta three kinds of animation
we learned had to be there.

I made a CD case / CD sticker in case I could get some
bonus points! Muehehehehehehehe


And as for the animation I made -

4. GRAPDES
GRAPDES is Graphic Design class, and for finals, our teacher
cut up some paper and wrote Filipino desserts on it.
We had to draw lots, and I got ensaymada!

So ayun, we were required to make a packaging design
for whichever product we got - and it had to be a "new look"
and we had to think about what it would have to look like
if we wanted other people (as in foreign people) to buy it too

I was out of brand name ideas, so, POOF!
I named the ensaymada after my mother!
HAHAHAHAH Tita Tita's Ensaymada

I had the box pattern printed out at Dexact and luckily (LUCKILY!!!)
they had acetate so I could print stuff on transparent chenes too!!!
(Which was the plan because I thought that people
would want to eat it if they could see inside the box but I didn't want
the transparent cover to be plain so I wanted the brand
printed onto it also do you get it?)

Tapos I had them print a bunch of the "yum!" stickers too
so I could put them on each ensaymada



5. TYPOGRA
TYPOGRA is short for Typography (obviously) and this was one of my
favorite electives this term also because I LOVE FONTS.
As a final, we had to make kinetic typography

Could be anything (song, movie dialogue, ad, etc etc etc)
as long as it had a range of emotions / voices and it had to be
a minute long

We spent a whole period deciding on what we were
going to do, so I chose Power by Kanye West

Again, plus points for decorated packaging

Excuse the bad words - Kanye likes saying them eh, ops.

6. MMABIZ2

Okay, this is business class, and it scares me to no end - 

Just so you know, I have no business knowledge whatsoever 

and I'm supposed to like it because it has some math, 

but I don't get it at all. 

Defense for our business plan is tomorrow, 

sooooo good luck nalang

P.S. Korra has a new trick

I am currently the most confused person ever.
So bothered that I can't work properly.

Not all the content is up, though.
We only had to finish a certain part to pass -
the whole site will be done by next term
