SG April '14: Day 4 + 5

April 20, 2014

Today we had lunch at Marchè, Somerset 313.

(Omg guys alam niyo ba na if you hold down a letter on your Mac
keyboard all the symbols pop out?! My friend Niña taught me this.
That's also how I made an enye just now! Ang galing please)

There are a bunch of food stations (meat, seafood, drinks, appetizers, etc)
where you line up to order what you want. They give each of you a card and that's
what you give them when you place an order at the counter. They swipe it and give
you that round buzzer that vibrates when your food is ready tapos you just go back to pick it up.

We ordered steak and pizza too if I remember correctly!
After lunch we challenged my dad to take the train with Kuya Leo
and he accepted! Trachea and I got so excited that we went with them
just to document the event. Here they are waiting for the train:

I promised to take Trachea to Scape + Cineleisure because it was our last day.
We changed trains and went back to Somerset where I showed her the skate park that
I accidentally ended up in the day before.

One of my favorite stores in Cineleisure - they have the nicest polos for boys!
(And since my friends are almost all boys, this is where
I get them pasalubong - I'm lookin' at u, Carlos + Borj + Kimps!!!)

Scape is right next door to Cineleisure. Camille took me there a few trips back,
and I wanted to show Tracy because they have a lot of random anik-anik.

Hair chalk, for example.

I have a very specific Changi Airport habit. I always pass by this toy store
near the giant M&M statue and for some reason, the Boogie Board is always still on display.
Boogie Boards remind me of Abuelita (Abu for short), Carlos's lola. She couldn't talk very well na
when I met her, kaya she would write down what she wanted to say through the Boogie Board.
She was super super super nice to me and her hugs were the best, so I always make
it a point to say hello to her when I see one!

AND OH EHM GUESS WHAT. I ran into Carlos's parents when we arrived in Manila!
They just got back from their anniversary trip to Europe tapos we were so happy to see
each other!!! What is nagwawala in the airport ahahhahahha HI TITO AND TITA!!!
