Hong Kong: Day Two

December 27 was our designated Ocean Park day!

You may or may not know this, but the last time we were in Hong Kong
as a gang, we went to Ocean Park too - but I found out too late that Ocean Park
had red pandas (aka ANA'S FOREVER FAVORITE ANIMAL EVERERERRER),
so I swore to myself that whatever happens, I HAD to see them on this trip.

Call time was at 9:00, and as usual, Tisha was the first one up.
(She's the only morning person in our room.)
She turned on the TV and put it on MTV so we'd all wake up, but no one did.
This is her screaming, "WALANG NAGISING SA MUSIC KO?!"
while me, Fluffy, and Daffy are still zzz-ing in bed.

When we DID finally get up, my sore throat
(that I got before the trip) got WAY worse. I asked Tisha
to go to Ate Diday's room with me to ask if she had Strepsils.

Then bath, then we left to get our money changed

Tisha ripped this jacket at the back,
but I don't think she wants you to know that.

Stopped to take this before entering World Wide Plaza
because it reminded me of Paulinians and how much we love to sit on the floor

After the money changing events, we went back to the hotel.
I went straight to my parentals' room where I munched on Dad's leftovers.

Went to Mom and Dad's room to wait for everyone

Off to Ocean Park with Kuya Leo!
1. From Pacific Place, use the walkway to Queensway

2. From Queensway, go out to the Admiralty bus stop

3. Take vain photo at the escalator because you have time to be vain

4. Look left. Baka masagasaan ka

This was taken at the bus stop. Kuya Leo was buying our tickets.

Fast forward to Ocean Park!

Tess and Daff had breakfast first.

After a while, we realized that we lost Kuya Leo...
Tisha raised the last quarter of her hotdog so he could find us



They wanted to ride the rides, but I DID NOT ALLOW IT -
the red pandas had to come first - this already happened the last time
and I really couldn't let this trip pass without seeing the pandas

and every time I pass by it I get kilig
and I took a video of them din nga pala

It probably has an attention span longer than 3 seconds

After freaking out for a long time,
we rode the express train to the other side of the mountain
and began lining up for the Flash.

Since it was taking a long time, we played
"I never." The amount of fingers we're holding
up in this drawing was how many we had left

That's the Flash! I took this when we were next in line!

Events on the ride itself:

After that, we walked to the Hair Raiser -
this ride is adorable! (And it really raised our hair...)

Daffy and Tess didn't want to line up for rides na,
and I was busy being happy (nyehehehehehe)
But anyway, soon after that we had to go -
 We took the bus again, and we were dropped off at the Central stop
kasi Tisha wanted to go to H&M. (Pagoda)

Tisha took ten million years there, and me and Tracy really needed to pee,
so Ate Diday took us to Landmark because they had decent banyos there.

Tisha texted that she was done shopping na, so Ate Diday
agreed to meet with them in front of the Marks & Spencer
nearby. Tisha and Daffy were sitting across the street from
where we were, and we were trying to scream at them

That Tracy and Ana (Tracy is the one waving her H&M
bag in the air, I'm the one waving my arms)
We actually succeeded, ok

We all walked to the other side of Landmark because Kuya Leo
was there with Miko, buying gadgets. That's me, Daffy and Tisha being tired.
(Yes, I like sitting on the floor even when I'm in another country)

Took this when we walked to the tram we were going to ride back to Pacific Place

We got back just in time for dinner at Roka
(Which I did not like so much)

This was the sushi platter that everyone wanted to take a picture of.
(Eh ang dilim dilim sa Roka, so we needed to improvise.)
Kuya/Tito Lino Cayetano made a diffuser and Kuya Leo
used his phone as a light so we could all take a picture!

And at the end of the night,
Tisha and Daffy and Ana explained everything they
bought - from the clothes to the groceries.
(We like to do this kasi show and tell is fun)
